Is it possible to be legally separated on paper but still living in a house with your spouse?

It depends on what state you live in. In Maryland, the couple must not live in the same house if they're separated. Is it possible to be legally separated on paper but still living in a house with your spouse?
yes, you will be just like roommates. but if you decide to keep that forever, i dont think its healthy, especially if you have children. i had a friend who's family had that arrangement...it was weird.

if neither of you can move out right away due to financial reasons and are working toward a goal with a deadline, then i think it would be a smarter way to go. but don't get too comfortable with that situation, you wont be able to move out.Is it possible to be legally separated on paper but still living in a house with your spouse?
yes- until you can make easier arrangements...sensible to have written guidelines/rules spelling out this temporary arrangement.
yes, it may get very uncomfortable tho. it is up to you two and what you will feel best doing.
It is possible but why would you want to?!
