My Spouse had experienced a ongoing problem with credit cards, and has piled up a enormous amount of debt which we intend to pay. In the future is there a way to prevent CC companies from issuing credit cards to her?Due to gambling problems is there a way to stop CC companies from issuing credit cards to my spouse?
no there is not and if your married you are responible for the debt as well . i suggest having her checked into a mental facility.. you could have all mail transferred to a post office box and not give her key :D , oh and tear the mail box off the house , no box no mail it cant be left outside on stepsDue to gambling problems is there a way to stop CC companies from issuing credit cards to my spouse?
I'M SORRY TO HEAR YOUR WIFE IS OUT OF CONTROL LIKE THAT. SHE IS SICK AND REALLY DOES NEED HELP. IF SHE DOESN'T GET THE HELP SHE NEEDS IT'LL JUST KEEP SNOWBALLING UNTIL YOU LOSE EVERYTHING OR SHE COMES TO HER SENSES. IF YOUR WIFE DOESN'T WORK YOU CAN PREVENT THEM FROM GIVING HER A CREDIT CARD BY SIMPLY TELLING THEM SO...AND TELL THEM YOU ARE NOT AUTHORIZING HER AS A SECOND USER OF THE CARD. IF SHE WORKS THAN MAKE HER HAND OVER HER PAYCHECK SO SHE CAN'T BE IN CONTROL OF ANY MONEY. THIS IS A TOUGH ONE. PLEASE GET HER HELP...IN A WAY THIS IS A CRY FOR HELP. YOU CAN'T DO IT ALONE. I'LL BE PRAYING FOR YOU AND I TRUST ALL WILL WORK OUT FOR THE TWO OF YOU.
first stop cc with a letter. Then always send for credit report to see if she has opened new accounts check constantly.
No there is no way to stop the CC companies but you can put a block on your credit report so that the companies can not issues a pre-qualification letter. CC companies scan credit reports and sends pre-qual letters to all that meet the minimum requirements. It doesn't work if she already has a credit card with them. I would say that you need to keep a close watch on your wife and make sure you can intercept the mail so that she can't order any more cards.
Yes their is away. You can opt-out this will prevent any CC offering comeing to you for 5yr
