Great onion comment. :)
My husband reminds me of a lemon..always sour and never sweet. And he puts a pucker on my face.Which fruit or vegetable reminds you of your spouse. A head of lettuce, an onion, a cucumber or lemon why?
a cucumber, of course, and you can imagine why!Which fruit or vegetable reminds you of your spouse. A head of lettuce, an onion, a cucumber or lemon why?
A lemon. Smells sweet, but it really is sour inside.
A cucumber,wink wink.
Onion- because onions have layers.

What is your favorite thing bout your spouse?
I sae a question earlier that got me thinking..........what is your favorite thing about the one you married (or will marry)
**For me it's his tender heart. He is very loving and affectionate and I know I am first in his life. What is your favorite thing bout your spouse?
they way she loves me...
they way that there is nothing missing at all in our realtionship..
to hear her laugh coming from another room,,that just makes me smile....watching her prepare herself to get ready for us to go out,,while i am waiting,,she is so so so so sexy and adorable. or waking up in the middle of the night and she is all wrapped up in me with her legs and arms,,and she is sound asleep.feeling safe and comfortable..push back her hair from her gorgeous face and kiss her forehead, and i whisper to her I love her,,and somehow she always hears me and says..I love you more back..while sleeping? she is an amazing woman..i am so so lucky..What is your favorite thing bout your spouse?
My favorite is hard to pinpoint. There are different times and different stages where there are aspect to his personality that I appreciate more than others. At the moment it's his patience. He is so patient and level headed in all the ways that I am not. It makes him an awesome husband, dad, and person.
He is amazing to me. HE treats me like I am the most important person on the planet. His attitude and level of affection doesn't change when we are around his friends. His friends girlfriends even get jealous at the level of affection he shows me.
He makes sure that I don't put myself last. Sometimes I would rather be economical with money and spend it on other people and not get things I need, he intervenes when I do this.
I guess that he appreciates the little things. And shows me on a daily basis.
hes not my husband.. but one day hopefully :)
hes amazing - his kiss melts me
hes the only guy that has ever just laid in bed with me in the morning and tells me that im beautiful even with messy hair no make up :)
but i think my favorite thing is just the way he looks at me and smiles, like nothing else at that moment matters
oh and it helps that he is oh sooo pleasant to look at, dressed or undressed hehehe :) :) sooo sexy
His mind.
Sure he has a great body, but his mind my favourite feature of my Husband.
And his ability to make me feel so safe, secure and happy.
Plus I have to admit, when he washes his truck in his track pants, and topless, my blood starts boiling. Nothing more I like more, than seeing the sun reflect of his body.
I dont have just one favorite thing about my husband.I love everything about him from head to toe and all in between. If i did have to specify then it would defenitely have to be his love for me.Its always there every single day from the day that we met.Constant and unconditional.
Hmmm...
Personality - I love his ';screw what the world thinks'; attitude - he's so confident of himself and his decisions...they aren't always conventional (not too far out there either...) but he's happy to roll that way irregardless of what others may think.
Physically - He's got a great a$s! What more is there to say?
For me it is my fiancee's tender heart, loving eyes, the little I love you notes he leaves around! when he sneaks up behind me and gives me a cuddle and whisper in my ear, I love you1
he is worth his weight in gold.
her @ss in tight dress, her @ss in tight short little mini skirt, her @ss in tight low rise jeans, her @ss in her workout outfit, her @ss in undies, her @ss in thongs, her @ss in g string, and finally, her @ss buck naked.
She was the most loving ,caring ,gentle kind most beautiful ,and unselfish Person I have ever known .
she has been gone now just over a year and i miss her every day .
R.I.P Pati my one and only love.
He is generous. He would give you the shirt off his back to help you out. He will help anyone out and doesn't expect anything in return. I love that about him.
oh yea and when he wears his tool belt to fix something. something about him and his tool belt. i have forgotten about that until i read charli's answer. need to remember that more often..
I have a number of favorite things. But I guess what sticks out most in my mind as my favorite, is his sense of humor. No one ever has made me laugh as long or as hard without trying.
His smile melts me and he is always telling me and showing me how sexy he thinks I am. He's very affectionate and considerate. He makes me feel great about myself. And he makes me a latte every morning :)
The way he plays with our sons. You can literally see his stressful day melt away when they scream ';Daddy!'; as he walks in the door.
He is very loyal. Physically, I love his big muscular arms.
I love how funny he is, and how passionate he is about the things he puts himself to.
Her unwavering faith. She never seems to let things/problems get to her, looks for the positive in every thing.
That he is the most amazing father in the world (possibly biased lol) and I couldn't imagine having kids with anyone else.
We've got five kids.
I love when he kisses my eyes at night or how he says ';I missed you.'; when we're leading up to sex.
He is a good dad. He also has a good sense of humor.
Oh, and his big arm muscles!!! He's very stong and I think that is sexy.
His sense of humor and his ability to tell ';stories';
Her personality, she has a heart of gold. And beautiful brown eyes.
the fact that she doesn't believe in ';SEXUAL OWNERSHIP';... :D
That we are best friends after 23 years together (21 of them married). He is a wonderful man in all ways!
he is caring..he knows i love coffee n he'll go get it for me whenever I ask him..even a 12 am! This gesture just shows me that he really cares for me!!
He's stong and tough, yet sensitive and caring. He knows me inside-out.
And he can fix ANYTHING!!! BONUS!
Carrie, I am trying my best right now to figure that out.

He's Paycheck!!!! LOL
He spoils me rotten
those rare moments when i feel like she loves me

What is the proper waiting time to start seeing other people after losing your spouse?
The grieving period is different for everybody. If the death was unexpected, then the waiting time could be years. If the death was expected, then maybe only a few months will go by. Follow your heart and do not let other people determine when it's time for you to get back into life. What is the proper waiting time to start seeing other people after losing your spouse?
when ever it feels right for you - you will knowWhat is the proper waiting time to start seeing other people after losing your spouse?
'Waiting'? Are you 'waiting'? Then you are ready to move on.
anytime you are ready
First off, I would say when you meet somebody that you are attracted to, but also, when you know that getting involved with you would not be a mistake for THEM, meaning for the most part you have something to offer in a relationship.
Too many people I've found get into relationships only thinking of their own selfish needs, when really they need to think about the other person and what they truly have to offer them. Just my thoughts.
This is always a tricky one, and the answer must be when the person themselves feel ready. Taking advice from family and friends will produce a range of answers, from 'never' to 'one year' but really, it has to come from the person.
It is not wise to rush into anything beyond dating, if there is a chance it is just the 'fear of loneliness' which is driving it.
There are a lot of variables in that question. For instance, Are children involved? If so, how young? If very young, they transition quicker. If 5-18 yo may not be willing to see a new Mommy/Daddy without considerable healing time. If adult children, they will generally come to you and say, ';You know what Mom/Dad, you should really start getting back out there'; and thats how you know its time. 2nd Instance, Was the death sudden, or was spouse terminally ill. I knew a man whos wife and he knew she was going to die within the year and she helped him court a new wife, and they were married six mos. after her death. With a sudden death, some people believe you grieve for half the time you were married. 3rd Instance, Do you already have someone in mind? If you do then you have already made up your mind that you are ready to move on. 4th, How was the marriage? Were you still deeply and madly in love with your spouse, or were you in one of those marriages where the only reason you were still married is because you didnt want to go through a divorce? That is a major deciding factor as well. So in synopsis if you had a childless, loveless marriage, you have somebody else lined up and your spouse died of a terminal illness and you had time to prepare, then feel free to move on. Other than that give it at least until your recently deceased spouse is not in every thought, smell, picture, and emotion.
There is no ';proper time';. Every individual is different. Whenever you feel emotionally and physically ready.
When you meet someone you feel attracted to, not before.
I don't think there's a time limit. I do think that when your comfortable and ready to go out and date then the decision is yours. Good luck!!!! =]

For those of you that met your spouse and almost immediately married?
Would you do it again? Are you happy and how long have you been together? For those of you that met your spouse and almost immediately married?
We met, dated, fell in love, got engaged (she proposed to me), and married all in 5 weeks time. We were both 25 and we just knew by the end of the first date, which lasted 28 hrs. We just celebrated 42 yrs. Yes, we would do it all over again, but we probably wouldn't wait so long. For those of you that met your spouse and almost immediately married?
I believe that depends on whether there are children involved for either of you. And whether either of you would be expected to relocate as a result of the marriage. (drawing from personal experience - married 4 months after meeting and still madly in love - but tomorrow we file for divorce)
My husband and I met in Sept of 2006 moved in together in october 2006 I was six mos pregnant when we met. We have been together now 2yrs+ He is the best father to our children. That includes the girl I had who is now 2 and 5mo old boy. He and I are happy and in love and wouldn't change a thing. When I look into his eyes I see the man who I will grow old with. I am very lucky to have him.
I don't know if you would consider it immediately, but some have said we married too quickly. We got married exactly a year to the date of our first date. I think if I had it to do over again, I would wait a little longer. I love my husband, but he is my first serious relationship and sometimes I wonder...
from the day we met to the day we got married was only 6 months. we've been married 7 years with two children. We've had our normal ups and downs. But I'd marry him over and over if I could Its the best thing I've ever done.
P.s. We waited til after marriage for sex too. He truely loves and respects me. He told me he wanted to make me his wife not just some girl he's sleeping with thats when I knew he loved me when he told me he could wait.
I would marry him again in a heartbeat!! He is my best friend, my confidante, my lover, my hero, my everything. We got married after knowing each other for 6 months and will be celebrating our 11th wedding anniversary in May. I can't wait for our 60th and 70th anniversaries!!! =)
We knew each other about 3 months before we decided to get married.
She got pregnant.
We married after 6 months.
Would I do it again?
Under the same circumstances, no.
But as it is, we will be celebrating our 20th anniversary this spring.
So, it's all good.
I am happy. I feel when It's meant to be, It's meant to be. A few years won't change that fact that that person is the one. We've been married for a year now and I'm just as much in love as the day I met him.
Met in Nov. 1987. Married in May 1988. Divorced April 1998. Second husband.. Met in Oct 1997 Married in Dec 2004. Remain married. Do it again? If there is a 3rd time I will want to know him 10 years first.
I met my husband on Oct 30th and we married Dec 17th, we have been married 14 years and though we have had the normal ups and downs of a relationship, I would do it again in a heartbeat!

How did you meet your spouse?
How did you meet your spouse? Please tell me your story. How did you meet your spouse?
we were in cooking class together. We were washing vegetables for a salad.
She had a great *** and was leaning over the kitchen sink.
She asked me to pass the cucumber so I 'accidentally' rubbed myself against her rear-end, practically came in my pants, and, I guess, she obviously liked the 'cucumber'.How did you meet your spouse?
Well, i met his best friend though my old job and invited him out as i liked him, so we met up one night in town when i was out with girls, he brought his best friend, who started chatting me up, and we eneded up kissing, then he got mt number and harrassed me for 2 weeks then i agreed to go out on a date with him, we've now been together 6 years.
He was a friend of my ex's and he needed somewhere to live so he moved in with my ex. That was how we met. I was pretty shy so I didn't say much but the more time we spent together, the more comfortable I got around him and we got closer. We started play-fighting a lot and one night we got really close and we kissed. Things kinda went from there. We got closer and closer and fell in love with each other. We've been together 8 month now and still going strong.
All the best for the future x
welp during the second semester my freshman year we had a math class together. we never really even talked and hardly even made any eye contact at all. i just always thought he was another junior boy and never really gave him any thought. then once at a basketball game his friends were asking me to a school dance for him, but i didn't believe them. soon he was on the phone asking me to the dance. we went to the dance, had a lot of fun, and started going out the next week. most surprising thing that ever happened to me and i've been in love with him ever since. who would have thought
like we had sorta known each other but i never really talked to him like i would see him at parties and stuff and i was walking one day w. my friends and all the sudden he got out of this car that was just sitting there and we talked and he gave me his number and we hung out and that's how we got together we're not married but have been together for 2years and we have 3 kids together 14month old and 4week old twins and plan on getting married sometime next year

How do you and your spouse communicate amorous interest prior to arousal?
This question is probably not for the newlyweds. If you don't consider yourself as such then do you find it difficult to gauge the interest of your spouse? If they aren't aroused and you are do you feel comfortable showing it? Have you ever found out they were but you missed some mystical window before their interest wained because you didn't read the signs? Is there a body language that supersedes spoken word at play here? How do you and your spouse communicate amorous interest prior to arousal?
After 9 years of marriage I can tell just by two things... if she takes a bath before bed it means that I am not getting any because she has no plans to take a shower before work. If she has not bathed I stand a better chance because she has already planned to take a shower before work... if she has not shaved her legs within the last week.... I know that I am not going to get any... if she comes to bed in the flannel-polka-dot PJ's, I know I am not getting any... now when she comes to bed wearing the satin baby-doll or announces that she is going to ';relax'; in bed and it is no later than 8:00PM... then I am in baby! I don't know if those are signs for you, but that is how I know... Oh Yeah, and if I blow some coin and we take a weekend getaway... then I know that she will wear me out!How do you and your spouse communicate amorous interest prior to arousal?
cute answer
lol I will tell you something funny. Please take it in the correct context. I once told my husband: If I am not listening or I dont notice just come up to me and stick your d*ck in my ear....that'll get my attention! You have to remember we have a very funny sense of humor with each other....
My hints for you? If all else fails: ask. If you would rather: seduce her.
I am usually always in the mood for trying. My husband knows all he has to do is be nice to me throughout the day and maybe give me some gentle rubs to get me aroused. He does tell me when he wants it and I tell him. We have no problems sharing that with each other. We both enjoy sex.
It really varies on personality, but generally just keep an eye on their eyes, and if you notice them ';noticing'; you, then that's a good hint.
Yeah, I've missed that window of opportunity. It sucks.
The best thing to do is, when you're in the mood, try to get them in the mood without words (i.e. just start kissing, nibbling, whatever turns them on) and see if that will take them anywhere. If I've discovered anything, it's that blatantly asking for it will never get anywhere.
i just feel out the situation. one thing leads to another without much thinking. usually he takes the lead though. i'll pretty much will follow. i'll admit the last time i wasn't so much in the mood because my period was all messed up. we haven't really had sex when i was on my period even though it was late stages of it. i just felt weird. he had to assure me. i mean, i like sex. i like being with him. being close to him. once i was assured i was okay though. next time that happens i probably won't resist. but, yeah it's definitely all about body language. as soon as he starts kissing me, i'm in the mood.
Well, I have been married over 6 years now, we lived together for 3 prior to that, so we have been together long enough now to be able to pick up on these nonverbal signs..... I have it easier than my Hubby because he is extremely transparent!!! :) lol Me on the other hand, I try to call him during lunch and drop subtle hints, just to prepare him for what's ahead!! Then when we get home, I will usually want to delay dinner and go take a bath..... I have noticed that he knows that this is a sign because he will usually say something like, ';I know what you would like, a nice massage';..... Any other given time, I don't receive that kind of offer!! :) As I am writing this, it seems like it would be so much easier just to put it out there, but I guess that is part of the excitement after you have been together so long!
Oh Yeah, and if I blow some coin and we take a weekend getaway... then I know that she will wear me out!How do you and your spouse communicate amorous interest prior to arousal?

lol I will tell you something funny.

As soon as you're issued your permanent residency card and got a full time job plus your place, you can right away sponsor your spouse....... make sure that your wife' name is included on your dependents when you're filling up your application form.
